My name is Anders Zakrisson. I was born in the north of Sweden in the late 1950s and I'm an only child. My parents divorced in the mid 60's and I had a somewhat turbulent youth. I don't remember much up till 1974 (ABBA winning the Eurovision Song Contest in Brighton, England - and 'yes' I like them as well..) when my father took me to see a re-run of 'The Sound of Music'. The film, in it self, was wonderful but something I had not planned to do was to fall in love with Julie Andrews. If you are already a fan you know just how easy it is. She was like a beacon on the screen, and from then on, my heart belonged to her.

On these pages I will tell you about my 'meetings' with Julie, what I did to promote her films and music and some other 'personal' stories from my life. I promise that they are all true but maybe I'm not always truthful - maybe the stories are more understated than overstated - though I hope you'll enjoy reading them.
